The Portobello Acupuncture Project was originally founded in 2010 to promote community health within the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Our professional and experienced practitioners grouped together to create a shared healing space, so we could provide quality treatments at a low cost and our patients could be treated at the same time as family and friends rather than feeling isolated by their condition. The local community spread the word about the project, and the results have been wonderful as the clinic now has patients coming from every borough within London which proves that community acupuncture works!
Our practitioners' believe that it is essential, that you are able to afford treatments frequently enough and long enough to get healthy and stay healthy. We provide affordable acupuncture, you decide what you can afford to pay between £25 and £40.
Our sliding fee scale is based on the simple principle of trust. Those who can afford to pay the full fee of £40 do so, while those who need to pay less or need long term care, can choose to pay less.
We value volunteers, who are essential in keeping the project running. If you would like get involved and also garnish your CV, we would love to hear from you. The Portobello Acupuncture Project is always open to student observers, get in touch and visit our great learning space. Students don't get yourself into a fluster about up-coming exams. Our friendly team are aiming to provide affordable acupoints & pulse review sessions very soon.
